Converse Chuck Taylor 70s X Suicidal Tendencies

When a legendary band from the 80's teams up with a tried and tested brand, there is something special going on. Hardcore/Punk/Thrash music has a spot here in the shoephoric office and we had to get pairs of that category!

Enter the latest collab from Suicidal Tendencies with Converse, we were thrilled to get these on hand... and on feet!

At first, we were introduced to the new Chuck Taylor 70's which was glossier for our tastes but we got over it once we stared at the details. From the insoles with original ST art from the 80's down to the jet black denim with the "Suicidal Tendencies" logo at the back. Man, we were floored. The pair also offers three lace options but we had to go with the black for a more wicked look.

The best thing about this shoe aside from the aesthetics is the Lunarlon technology found in the insoles of the shoe. Converse is now owned by Nike which in turn gave a nice comfortable twist to the classics. If you can't stand Chucks before, give this a ride and we're sure you won't be disappointed.

Overall, this pair should be a must cop if you're into heavy music or if you want something edgy. Highly recommended!
