Converse Teams Up With A Thrash Metal Legend
Thursday, 06, August, 2018

Mike Muir and Suicidal Tendencies will always be legends in their own right. The band and conversecelebrate their longevity and resilience by way of a collaboration that's more into culture than what's popular these days.

The band's singer recounts the Chuck Taylots as his first pair of kicks as he was making history in California with Suicidal Tendencies. As a true blue California figurehead, Muir states “It’s one of those things that sells itself. You could identify with the shoes where we were from in California.”

The band's heritage is immortalized on the capsule collection with DIY art and skulls. Coming from the band aesthetics that they came up with back in 1983. The Chuck 70 High boasts of an all over print with a Suicidal patch while the Chuck Lo 70 gets some of that sweet branding going. The star of the show is definitely the rough and tumble appeal true to the band's DNA.

Sey to drop on Nike.com and at select Converse stockists on September 7th, you wouldn't want to miss out on these for your crossover metal fix! Act fast! Suicidal for life!
