The YEEZY wave definitely has reached its momentum yet it's not showing any signs of wearing out or going out of style anytime soon. Just like Kanye West's music, it will always have a niche market with music and fashion fans everywhere.
So what we have here is a chunky beast in the form of the adidas YEEZY 500 "Utility Black." Looking really stealthy in a blacked out colorway this shoe gives out that tough guy, dont mess with me vibe that the man's music is known for. Drawing inspiration from 90's skate shoes that goes for a fat and padded orientation, does it work in today's streetwear landscape? Yes it does and more!
Though not as comfortable as the other YEEZYs, what this lacks in the comfort department, it makes up for in terms of visual impact and flare without being gaudy or corny. Its utility black orientation gives off that rock, almost military vibe. The best thing about it is that it can match almost anything you got. Whether you got a bomber jacket on, or that thrifted Metallica shirt, or yes, that latest YEEZUS tour shirt.
Overall, a release that's worth the money. PLUS the resale value ain't that much yet so you can still cop a pair with the quickness. if you want a shoe to balance out your hip-hop/rock persona, then this shoe is the best thing to cop, until Mr. West cooks up something out of this world.
Speaking of reviews, do check out our review of the Louis Vuitton Archlight. Such an awesome shoe.
