Vans X A Tribe Called Quest

Vans is well known for paying tribute to musicians with Ice-T, Metallica and No Doubt to name a few. This time the brand is giving out the whole nine yards in immortalizing rap legends A Tribe Called Quest's significance to hip-hop via their strong album imagery and lyrical content. 

The lineup features a number of classic shoe silhouettes, namely the Slip-On, Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi, and Era, in addition to the new UltraRange, this time given the ATCQ twist. 
The Slip-Ons pay tribute to the 2016 album We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, the Era kills it with an all-over print of album covers spanning from 1990 to 2016.
The Old Skool is a powerful reference The Anthology artwork, and the Sk8-Hi brings forth lyrics from the group's celebrated “Bonita Applebum” track. To collection is rounded up with  the Era as it pays tribute to the the late Phife Dawg, The UltraRange, boasts of subtlety with black leather uppers with a loud red stripe. 

Dropping sooner than you think, this is the perfect marriage of sneakers and rap music. No one is too young to get started on the music and no one's too old for the sneakers either!
