Don’t Blame The Kids ventures towards a new direction as they release their latest collection in collaboration with Lynyrd Paras. Dubbed the “Apoy Collection,” it features a set of graphic tees in black, white, and gray colorways, DBTK x LYNYRD logo tees in black, white, gray, and pink colorways, and an overall print hoodie of Lynyrd’s work with a hard patch of the DBTK x LYNYRD logo.
On DBTK’s feature article on the release, they mentioned that fire held a significant role to Lynyrd, which is why he decided to bring it to life in this collaboration. The brand has conceptualized the idea since March, showing how much thought and process was put into the pieces as they keep an eye on each and every procedure – from choosing the fabric and its colors, cutting, sewing, placing (of the design), printing, shooting the lookbook, as well as the planning for the event. Everything was given ample time to be prepared, and the event was able to execute DBTK’s idea of a perfect collaboration.
The event was held at Secret Fresh in Ronac Center, which also showcased the artworks of Lynyrd – these paintings were purchasable at a certain price; each purchase entitles the buyer to every piece that design was made on, in every colorway as well. To keep the fire burning, performances were also carried out by Baryo Berde Atbp, Bawal Clan, and Kartell ‘Em.
