Puma Basket X Trapstar
Thursday, 05, October, 2017

Puma classics are known for their nice shape, profile and overall crossover appeal. Ranging from B-Boys, to skaters, to rappers it has become a cultural phenomenon that remains unquestioned to this day.

Influential London streetwear label Trapstar have given the classic Puma Basket a flavor of its own. Here we have the pair in loud red. The overall appeal is striking and appealing without overdoing such a classic shoe. In this case, it's all about finding that perfect balance in a shoe, and in this case it's a win-win for both the brand and the shoe label.

The red suede Basket is the ideal shoe to highlight the design aesthetic of Trapstar. having collaborated with numerous brands already, Trapstar succeeds in bringing their street cred and fashion twist on the said silhouette.

The B-Boy/Oldschool feel is reinforced with custom laces. One red with Trapstar Lacelocks, and a red one with Trapstar and Puma branding all over. We stuck with the fat ones as they give the shoe much flavor even from a distance.

The back portion of the shoe features the Trapstar "T" logo, which is a nice subtle touch.

All in all, this shoe is a classic staple that can withstand trends and the hottest things coming out. They remain icons and collaborations like this only add to their legacy.

If red shoes are your thing, then the Flyknit Air Jordan 1 Breds should be on your must have list!
