Fashion week is on, and you know what that means. A series of new shoes!
Rei Kawakubo, the founder of Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market, first revealed a redesigned ultra-feminine Nike during CDG’s Fall 2017 runway show. It was a simple white Nike runner with a bow on top. There was absolutely no buzz on this collab… until now.
The Japanese streetwear brand recently posted on Instagram the launch of their CDG X Nike Flyknit Triple Racer. An improved design to its runway counterpart, the freshly released runner takes an all-white Flyknit upper with a textured black bow-tie appliqué on the toe box.
The collab is exclusively available at Dover Street Market London. There are a lot of mix emotions with this one; some are swooning over it, while others think it’s a mockery to CDG’s avant-garde style. What's your take?
