Care to rock this $1,000 NMD?
If you think the NMDs are expensive, think again. adidas teamed up with Hender Scheme to give you an ultra luxe capsule collection of their iconic runners.
Founded by Ryo Kashiwazaki, the Japanese brand prides itself to reconstruct sneakers with pristine leather craftsmanship. Their works revolve around the use of the finest raw leathers and materials.
Hender Scheme x adidas includes the adidas Micro Pacer, Superstar, and the NMD R1 runner. The collection all feature Ryo’s signature light colored leather upper, which is known to age into darker patina over time. Retail price ranges from $800 to $1,000, with the NMD being the most expensive to date.
For us, the hefty price is all worth the fusion of hand-made artisanal precision and industrial technology found in each pair.
Each model is limited to 300 pairs globally. To grab a pair you can visit the Hender Scheme flagship shops or check out their list of official stockist HERE.
