Thrasher is an institution that's been around for forever. A respected skate publication and institution, they are well respected within and outside the skate community. The name has gathered more than enough recognition that they deserve their own collaboration, and thank destiny, Vans is here to make it happen.
The Sk8-Hi is an iconic model that has seen various reincarnations and collabs. This one with Thrasher may rank in our book as one of the best yet. The Thrasher flames logo is the perfect graphic to be immortalized onto the said shoe. The pentagram detailing on the tongue is perfectly low key and full on impact. The red stripe is a minor detail but it gives the shoe that special flavor.
One thing we love about this shoe is the Ultracush tech in the insoles which is a response to skateboarding's demands for a comfier ride and less impactful landings. Oh yes, it's perfect for long walks too as they won't strain your feet. Simply a waffle sole lover's dream. Overall visually satisfying and a treat on feet, we highly recommend these whether you skate or not.
Speaking of skate shoes, these Valentino Fly Crew sneakers were supposedly made for skateboarding, what's your take?
