We’re seeing a new trend coming into play. Shoes with no laces are becoming the fad for summer. So far the minimalistic do look good with the current retro comeback. Remodeling classics with a sleek look is always a great idea, and one awesome example comes from Vans.
The skate lifestyle brand goes “off the wall” with their freshly released laceless collection. Coming in the form of the Vans Old Skool and Sk8-Hi, the two iconic models features a nice slip on construction with a single elastic gore taking place of the laces.
The entire pack takes an ultra deluxe feel and look. Its upper comes in full premium leather in either all black or bleach white. For added texture to its monochromatic construction, the cushioned sock liner runs down uniformly to its padded collars. The Vans Laceless collection has a similar opulence to Maison Margiela “Future” sneakers. But instead of paying USD 895 the Vans is USD 85. A pretty good deal for well styled sneaker!
Vans Old Skool and SK8-HI Reissue Leather UA Laceless DX are currently available in women sizing on vans.com.
