A Closer Look: NAKED X adidas Consortium UltraBOOST
Thursday, 2, March 2017

The demand for Boost is in an all time high and adidas is not falling short with creativity to keep our cravings going. Before the pastel craze the Three Stripe giant gave one of the best soft hued footwear we’ve seen so far.

Introducing the NAKED X adidas Consortium UltraBOOST 'Waves Pack', a beautiful runner in a fresh Celeste colorway. Its unique shade is a nod to NAKED’s signature color palette, a much lighter color compared to the Diamond Supply Co. X PUMA Clyde.

Along with the adidas Samba, the pastel UB is the first collaboration release between the two brands and we’re thrilled that it materialized. NAKED a Denmark female-focused boutique remastered the UB into a runner that speaks well to women. They know what ladies want in sneakers. The Waves Pack offers a clean cut of sophistication and class with a touch of sweetness. Unlike the common unbearably colorful women exclusives that cross between tacky and childlike.

NAKED adidas UltraBOOST boasts a full wool Primeknit upper with eyelet pierced tongue tags and monotoned Celestine lace and outsole. To keep to its serene ocean theme, the Three Stripe TPU cage was replaced with a matching wool construction.

Cool on the eyes and on the sole, the collab pair is an easy five for us. For more Boost love you can check out the KITH x NAKED x adidas NMD CS2, the latest from adidas Consortium.
